I made my first investment in early 2013 after noticing something simple: every time my friends and I grabbed lunch at Chipotle, the line was out the door. A little digging told me the market hadn’t yet priced in that kind of growth, so I took a position in Chipotle (CMG). Once the stock finally caught up with the fundamentals and I closed the trade with a tidy profit. That experience hooked me.
Since then I’ve spent a decade sharpening both fundamental and technical toolkits—testing what works, discarding what doesn’t, and building a disciplined process for idea generation and risk management. Along the way, I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Miami with a BSBA in Finance and Marketing, completed wealth-management internships at UBS, and cut my teeth as an analyst at Bloom Healthcare Investment Banking before striking out on my own.
Today I manage a private portfolio and run Gorilla with Glasses, a multimedia platform dedicated to demystifying markets for the self-directed investor. Through my weekly video newsletter The 9:25 and the podcast Charts and Checks, I translate macro data, earnings, and price action into clear, actionable insights.
My mission is straightforward: financial know-how is the bedrock of a secure future but getting there can feel overwhelming. By breaking complex topics into plain-spoken analysis, I help people make smarter investment decisions and approach the markets with confidence.
