This morning, saw two well-known gold miners making new all time moves. Felt it a good opportunity to explain how I identify and risk-management breakout.

Full disclosure, I will be entering AEM with orders to buy on-the-close and using a violation of $130.16 on a weekly closing basis to management my downside. As for the upside, I plan on selling 25% of the position if gold breakouts as anticipated, and then using a bearish violation of the 5d EMA as a stop for the remaining 75%.
